So many people have given me help in some way so far it’s time to acknowledge you all. Be it companies donating prizes for the table quiz, friends donating money to CMRF on my behalf, or people donating pieces of equipment, I want to thank all who have helped me so far and as I go on this incredible journey.
The Money Men (and women)
A huge thank you to my brother Anthony, Ian and Darren from college, Dave from Cycle Against Suicide, Lynda, Ciaran, Bronagh, Jenny and Dec from Google, and finally Paddy Burke. You have all donated money to my cause. Thank you.
This wonderful logo was designed by Laura Ellis. Laura kindly offered her talents for free to help me create a logo that captured the spirit of the trip. She made this cool logo and helped me with my business cards that will hopefully generate some additional http://lauraellisdesigns.tumblr.com
Thank to my sister Rhona for sorting some prizes for me, and to Claire for harassing her entire family on my behalf 🙂
The Equipment Donors
Thank you to Paddy Burke who not only donated to CMRF, but also donated the only thing that will save my ass on this trip, literally. This saddle would cost €100 and Paddy donated it without hesitation. I had a great chat with him and his wife who are seasoned cycle tourists.
Table Quiz Prize Donors
This is going to be a long list, but when I approached each of these companies I committed to providing recognition for the generosity they have shown me. I emailed each of these companies (and many, many more) and not only were they kind enough to reply to me (90% haven’t replied), they have all donated prizes towards the quiz and raffle. Thank you!
Brian Tector is a Menswear store located in Rathmines. Brian himself agreed to donate a voucher to the quiz. Thanks Brian!
Conor (owner of the Grafton Barber) was straight onto me and so enthusiastic about the cycle and the cause. He has agreed to donate hair care products and gift vouchers. Thanks Conor !
The Physio Company have been fixing my various niggles and injuries for a couple of years now. They didn’t hesitate to donate some treatment vouchers and ensured I’ll be taken care of in the run up to my departure. Huge thanks to Rossa for co-ordinating the donations!
No hesitation from the guys in Diageo, only up the road from where I’m typing this! Straight in with a donation of some Guinness Storehouse passes. Thanks to Stella and Mark for sorting this out so quickly!
Dublin Bus were another company without hesitation when it came to donating prizes. They gave me a couple of passes for the Ghost Bus Tour and the Dublin City Tour. Thanks to Ruth for getting these over to me asap. I’ve been on the Ghost Bus Tour myself and it’s great craic!
Home of the greatest Buffalo Chicken Wings in Dublin, Elephant & Castle Restaurant in Temple Bar have agreed to sponsor the quiz. Huge thanks for helping me out 🙂
Viking Splash Tours didn’t hesitate to donate two tickets for this fun tour. Thanks to Susan for her quick reply!

I think Áine at the Laughter Lounge holds the record for fastest response to donate two tickets from the Laughter Lounge. Great stuff!
W. Grant & Sons Irish Distillers were super quick to donate a prize, so many thanks to Karen. I can’t wait see what it is!
Irish Strength Institute on Hatch Street donated three personal training sessions to the quiz. Thanks to Rhona for sorting that for me.
Definitely one of the hottest prizes I’ve landed (see what I did there?!) is a lesson with Paddy out at Sky West Aviation. Check out their great prices on http://www.helicopters.ie. Thanks to Declan for helping sort this prize.
Bit of pattern emerging here with the tour prizes, but I have to hand it to City Sightseeing Tours, they really helped me out with 20 amazing tour tickets for prizes. Huge thanks to Lenka for her quick response!
